Richard R. Malone RICHARD R. MALONE

Dick is a native of Toledo, Ohio, and has been practicing law in Toledo since graduating from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1977.  Over the years, Dick has been actively involved in the representation of small business owners and individuals in a wide range of litigation and transactional matters. Dick's experience is extensive in both transactional work and dispute resolution associated with real estate matters, business contracts and relationships, employment contracts and issues, and personal injury claims.

Dick has served as national counsel responsible for the management and trial of asbestos claims throughout the United States on behalf of a manufacturer of industrial equipment for the past twenty years.

Dick and his wife, Kate, a high school educator and school nurse, have lived in the Toledo area throughout their lives and are the parents of four children. Three of their children have followed Dick's path both to the University of Notre Dame, on to law school and to their own careers in the law, while their youngest daughter graduated from Indiana University and is pursuing a career in musical theater.

COMMUNITY

Dick has been involved in a wide range of community organizations and activities throughout his career, both law related and otherwise, including serving as the President and as a Board Member of the Victory Center, an organization which provides non-medical services to cancer survivors and their families, and as Chairman of the Access to Justice Awards Dinner from 2000-2006, a fund-raising event to benefit legal services programs in the Toledo community.
